So Why PR?

The Harvard Business School studied the relative credibility of editorial (news stories) over advertising and concluded that editorial is 12 times more believable in the mind of the public.  That’s because everyone recognizes that ads are bought and paid for, while a story by a writer or reporter provides you with third party credibility.   And the media really wants your news!  Changes in the way newspapers and other media do business have resulted in more stories from PR-generated news.  76 percent of journalists in a 2007 survey reported that up to 1/3 of their content comes from PR. Best of all…PR is free.
